Recently my kids have taken to searching for thin-rectangle-shaped rocks on the beach and pretending that they are iPhones. And though that rock is likely millions of years old (and deserves better), my children are running around taking stone selfies. It’s clear: Technology hasn’t saved us, and now we have to save ourselves.
