They aren't bad people, but they did bad things
How do we talk to our kids about the fact that there are truly evil people in the world?
In case you were a kid once, you’ll maybe remember that exposure to violent images, horrific news, and scary NPR rants can affect one’s overall well-being. It can land hard—very hard—to know that the world is not as fair and/or safe as it may have once seemed. How do you talk to your kids about real “bad guys” while also teaching them how to be open-minded and non-judgemental?
